"Practicing environmental consciousness actively- with nature for nature!"

Due to the increasing reduction of the global energy reserves we decided to use alternative energy resources to contribute actively to the maintenance of our environment. For this, we already have constructed a biogas plant in 2005, which covers 100% of our energy demand by gasification of regrowing raw materials. 15.000.000 kWh of electricity can be produced every year. This can be compared to an electrical demand of 4.000 households. Consequently,
the -emission of the climate-damaging greenhouse gas CO2 can be reduced by 10.000 tons per year.

In 2008, a drying centre has been built beside the biogas plant. The produced fermented rests of the biogas plant are dried in here. Afterwards, the dried substance is going to be added to the thermal incineration. The CO2-emission can be further reduced by this way. Furthermore, we also started to work with the generation of energy by photovoltaic in 2008. Therefore,
photovoltaic systems are constructed on the roofs of the fattening companies. A completely great solution!
